17. Wild Mushroom Consumption

OSTARA does not recommend consuming wild mushrooms based on our digital guides.

Customers remain responsible for obtaining appropriate local expert identification where required.

Kit-specific manufacturer or supplier instructions take priority where they differ from general OSTARA guidance.

21. Growing Conditions

Mushroom cultivation can be affected by:

OSTARA does not guarantee a particular growing outcome.

22. Contamination or Unexpected Changes

If a kit develops unexpected mould, unusual colours, unexpected odours, or other concerning changes, customers should consult the kit supplier or an appropriate knowledgeable source.

OSTARA customer support is not a professional contamination-diagnosis service.

23. Harvesting Cultivated Mushrooms

Customers should follow the instructions supplied by the commercial kit provider regarding appropriate harvest timing and handling.

24. Cooking Guides

OSTARA cooking guidance is intended for cultivated mushrooms purchased from appropriate food retailers or suppliers.

The cooking guide should not be used to decide whether a wild mushroom is safe for consumption.

25. Food Preparation and Storage

Customers remain responsible for following appropriate:

  • Food-storage practices

  • Hygiene

  • Cooking methods

  • Packaging instructions

  • Use-by or best-before information

26. Allergies and Sensitivities
